Victron's BlueSolar MPPT solar controller is designed to maximize the power potential from your solar panels and plus the life of your battery bank.
» For up to 200 watts of panels at 12 volts, 400 watts at 24 volts
» Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and 98% peak efficiency
» Multi-stage charging with intelligent battery management
» Separate programmable load output with low-battery cutout
» Manufacturer's 5-year warranty
» Bluetooth enabled (Bluetooth dongle needed)
» Day/night timing and light dimming option
Especially in the case of a clouded sky, when light intensity is changing continuously, a fast MPPT algorithm will improve energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
With conventional battery management, when a solar charge controller is not able to recharge the battery to its full capacity within one day, the result is often that the battery will continually cycle between a "partially charged" state and the "end of discharge" state. This mode of operation (no regular full recharge) will drastically reduce a lead-acid battery's life as it needs to achieve the full recharge state at lease once every week.
Victron's Blue Solar MPPT solar controller's BatteryLife algorithm will monitor the state of charge of the battery and day by day slightly increase the load disconnect level until absorption voltage is reached. From that point onwards the load disconnect level will be modulated so that absorption voltage is reached about once every week.
- Automatically adjusts to a 12v or 24v system
- Three step charging: Bulk - Absorption - Float
- Resin encapsulated electronics
- Over-discharge of the battery can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output
